Masterwork.

Twin Peaks season 3 is perhaps Lynch's best work.

I enjoyed almost every second of it. About 99%.

Truly amazing stuff.

Here in this digital age, perhaps the best compliment I can give this show is that it's one of the only ones I watch where I never look at my phone even once.

I miss it already.

Thank you Mr. Lynch & Co.

They just don't make television shows like this one. It's really something more than a television series. What to call it I'm at a loss for. "Philosophy" comes to mind, but that comes up short. Encrypted cinematic language utterance? I don't know, but it's a treasure, for sure.

reply

nowadays they called them "limited series event" like american horror story

reply

"like american horror story"

lol

reply

I would agree with that if TP gets as many more seasons as American Horror Story has had lol

reply

I can't agree with that. Although it's all subjective [one man's palace is another man's dumpster] I hardly see this Season as Lynch best work. I would give that title to Inland Empire. That one felt like the sum of all his works put together [even the short ones].

Could have been a true masterpiece if it had ended the right way instead of the Lost Highway rehash with some Mulholland Drive tossed in.

In my opinion Lynch's best work was on the original Twin Peaks, FWWM, and the movie Wild at Heart.

reply

FWWM is a great movie. I enjoy it more than the original series.

I agree completely. I'm still watching the You Tube videos with explanations and theories. Lynch is a genius!

"Has my watch stopped, or is that one of the Marx Brothers?"

reply

Nah. So much stuff just added for no real reason or relevance. The big shootout with machine guns etc with those two in the van. What was that about? The kid with green fist that nobody seems to question?

"oh it's just a kid with super hero fist, but this is Twin Peaks so no need for explanation". Same for about 50 other scenes.
