JADE IS A TULPA

Coop manufactured her so Dougie could have good times.

This is why "Jade" refers to herself in the third person, just like Dougie does/did.

Also, the house where Jade and Dougie have their trysts is a tulpa. The whole neighborhood is actually a tulpahood. Didn't you notice how pristine the carpet was? Newly MANUFACTURED houses.

Tulpa dollars are minted by the White Lodge, for the special needs of tulpi. Dougie paid TP$160 to make Jade tingly.

119 Lady was just another tulpa -- the clue is in "119," which is the emergency number (like 911 in the U.S.) in Tibet (China). She was manufactured to make the houses seem lived in and more natural. DONUT DISTURB.

I wouldn't be surprised if Norway was involved. It's possible that they sent Tammy as a tulpa hunter. She did seem to know more about the subject than Wikipedia. In fact, I'm starting to wonder if the term "tulpa" isn't a non-physical tulpa itself -- that is, a "thought-form not made physical," and manufactured by Wikipedia.

reply

Someone should start a thread speculating about who might not be a tulpa.

reply

Although there IS the tendency to overthink the tulpa thing, the tulpi are pretty easy to spot and there are only around 15-17 of them in the series.

First of all, there are NO tulpi in the town of Twin Peaks. Sarah Palmer is just an old drunk who hates herself from never stopping her husband from raping their daughter.

Sonny Jim, no one will be surprised, IS a tupla. However, he is manufactured from the DNA of that old hotel guy who used to serve the warm milk.

reply

I've been drunk on occasion in my life, but I've never pulled my face off and tore someone's throat out. Well....I've never pulled my face off.

I'm starting to suspect that Jim Belushi's character might be a non-tulpa. That's a crazy theory so I don't want to get too far out on a limb committing to it with certainty, but the files of evidence I've assembled are pointing that way.

reply

Any body who didn't realize that Dugie-Coop was retarded is NOT a tulpa. Who realized he was retarded? Jade, Sonny Jim, and the cashier in the casino. So yes, the Mitchum Bros. are not tulpi.

What makes Sonny Jim special is that he carries both tulpa and non-tulpa DNA.

reply

So.. Snny Jim is a son of a Tulpa...

reply

We Natives call him a "hapa tulpa."

reply

what a hapa tulpa that guy is

reply

Lol you're stupid.

reply

I meant that friendly, i was laughing too.

reply

But I am stupid

reply

Ok, i didn't think you'd take offense, just wasn't sure if we were on that level yet. lol

reply

It's alright. I wouldn't take offense. And we are pretty much married now XD

reply

So sad, it was over before it began. But hey, we'll always have dune😊

reply

It puzzles me how some people say that the movie is hard to follow: guy is prophesied as being Space Mohamed and frees the Known Universe from the tyranny of the Emperor and his lacquies.

reply

Omg i need coffee. Dune hard to follow? Not at all i don't think. I mean it's pretty straight forward.

reply

Most reviewers on youtube claim to be hard to follow the story. There are some editing that I wish was done better [there's repetition in battle scenes],but overall it's damn simple to follow through. Lynch even gave the viewers a "this is what this movie is all about" in the opening credits in 2 different versions [I prefer the one with the Emperor's daughter though. The other one with Frank Herbert is too prolonged].

Given the source material, he did a pretty fine job. There are way too much needless stuff in the book that wouldn't translate well into screen [the more recent tv version tried that and - IMHO - didn't work].

reply

I actually saw it in the theaters at like 6 or something. Didn't follow it then but i remember thinking the eyes looked really cool. Oh and how cool i was for getting in a pg13 movie.

reply

oh yes, the eyes and the Guild Navigator scene was [and still is] my favorite things about the movie.

And the music. Made me want to learn music because of it.

reply

It's been a long time since i've seen it and i honestly can't remember the music, but i feel like it's a weird soundtrack to catch your ear, no? Don't know if you're old enough to remember, but i always loved the weird metroid music.

reply

Nevermind. I just listened to some of the soundtrack and it's pretty badass! I did not remember that.

reply

I remember Metroid for sure.

I wouldn't say "this was made by Toto" if I knew any better. I don't associate Toto with soundtracks. But it's pretty dope for sure. The Opening theme and the one playing when Atreides are "folding in Space" caught my ears attention.

To be honest I really appreciate soundtracks. Another one I was crazy about at the time was Star Trek's the motion picture. The journey into V'ger's cloud has all this uncomfortable weirdness to it that captured the imagery pretty well.

The Mothman's Prophecies [thou a lot more recent] is also a great example of music creating the mood - or at least solidifying it. Can't help but pick up the bass when the soundtrack starts and play along to it.

Twin Peaks also has a lot of that mood creating with the choice of music. Badalamenti's stuff is pretty much up my alley as far as OSTs go.

reply

Yeah, i saw toto and was like wtf?! but i gave it a listen. I won't doubt your musical ear again sir. The tp's soundtrack (both) are engrained in my soul i've listened so often. Like it's always constantly playing in my head. I see a black dog and i think "the black dog runs at night" julee cruise is amazing too, i have a few of her albums.

reply

that sort of dark ambience is great for soundtracks. I have the Twin Peaks soundtrack too. Very memorable.

reply

And also, what is a triggly puff? Lmao

reply

Internet meme from last year. Part of the on-going Culture Wars. Best forgotten. DONUT DISTURB.

reply

Oh, i don't know of such things. Note to self: look before you ask. It just sounded really funny to me. Gave me a chuckle.

reply

TrigglyPuff was the name given to an obese child-like chick who threw a tantrum on a sort of symposium.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BY1H1rZL53I

She became a sort of the living embodiment of the millennial mentality.

There are others as well. Some very fowl.

reply

Jesus what is happening in this world? This is one of the many reasons i try to avoid the internet. Still, whoever thought up the nickname trigglypuff...it's just funny.

reply

ahah yeah the name is hilarious. Her attitude isn't though. It's quite sad.

reply

I still want to know why Sonny Jim is so swarthy.

reply

Lmao swarthy?? Who even says that?! Though now that you mention it, the boy is a tad swarthy.

reply

He's a dark, Mediterranean type.

reply

I believe someone just did.

"Damn fine pie."

reply

We are all Tulpas. We are all inside a dream. This Forum doesn't really exist. It's part of Frost's manuscript. We are being written.

reply

Oh no! The secret is out! 😡

reply

The 3 fat detectives are tulpi.

As are the 3 hostesses, Maddy, Addy, and Gladdy.

So:

Jade
Dugie
Sonny Jim (hapa)
Detective 1, 2, 3
Casino hostess 1, 2, 3
119 Lady
119 Lady's brat
Casino Cashier

That's already like 53 tulpi.

It's TULPA MANIA! SUNDAY! SUNDAY! SUNDAY!
