Ep 12: slow and boring as hell!
first 20 minutes were nice, after that nothing happened.
worst episode!
most boring scene was with audrey and it took forever.
also the scene with Ben took too long.

Yeah, maybe. I still think that a lot will be revealed. I did enjoy Dougie getting hit in the head with a ball. I also just enjoyed seeing Audrey, even though I had no idea what was going on.
shareSome people pointed out an hourglass on the fellow's desk, ostensibly her 'husband'. That could indicate a therapy session. Someone thought the phone call was actually to Ben. Could be. It would make sense if Audrey was in some kind of mental facility, considering the odd conversation. Against that I would think she would be sitting. It was odd that she didn't move at all. I agree it was good seeing her, but I'm concerned.
I think Cole is going to kidnap Dougie, material witness and all that. Especially if he has Cooper's fingerprints, even backwards. :/
Good theory. If she is Richard's mother, that alone would make anyone crazy.
shareI disagree man. I think the last 3 episodes were spot on. Also, audrey's back and you're complaining? I was thrilled to see her. We got to see sarah in all her glory, i guess uncle jerry finally found his foot, and minimal dougie is preferred. Oh and the chromactics came back! Solid episode. I like your taste in music though.
shareThe Chromatics are better than that Au Reviour Simone or whatever they are called. People complain no matter what. They wanted Audrey back and now that she is, they don't like it. They want Dale back, and I think they won't like it either, because he won't be talking about coffee and cherry pie. They hate Dougie, but all he does is drink coffee and eat pie. I like Lynch's manipulation.
shareYo modica, have you checked out the chromactics outside of the realm of twin peaks? They have some really great tunes. If not, check out their cover of kate bush's song "running up that hill" i never get sick of it.
Also wanted to ask, who got sniped last night?
OH so I heard the Chromatics Kate Bush song and I thought it was great. I like the other stuff too.
sharetwitter.com would be a better place for this non-discuss-able, personally-oriented statement of nothingness.
shareThen go to twitter you twot. All you do is bitch about othets comments, how is that helpful?
shareDon't be a disingenuous schmuck. I've never bitched about any "comments"; out of ~211 posts, about 3 times I've told thread-starters who don't understand Internet discussion boards to get a clue. I consider that a service to humanity, for which all should tip their hats and be grateful when passing me by.
shareI think you're the one who hasn't a clue about discussion boards. Seriously, you really are an idiot with a capital I. Idiot!
shareYou sound like one of those Pinterest Grandmas who think they're being creative when they post a link to some recipe. They just all of a sudden have this tablet thing in their lap and and aside from looking at grandchildren pictures, they really have no idea what to do with it. Yet nonetheless it is on your lap as you while away the hours watching "your programmes." You're really not engaged in Twin Peaks because you lack the sense of creative vision that would let you empathize with Lynch, and consequently after surfing around for some cute recipes you need to jump right on a site -- any site -- and spill your frustration. 'Cept you don't have Twitter, and your Facebook is mainly for sharing quotes made into images, and you figure if it's about a show/movie then it should be posted to Movie Chat.
shareWell, well, where have you been? Now this is an insult i can get behind. Well thought out and hilarious! Wtf i get schmuck? Well done briggs, didn't think you had it in you.
Dude, "schmuck" isn't even a real insult, it's more of a playful jab. (And you came me a "twot" (sic)!) The emphasis was on disingenuous, and I was saying, "C'mon, you know better, don't be like that."
You seem to have a a knee-jerk, in-the-moment reaction to my calling out that poster, yet if you honestly paid attention to my posting history you'd know that I only called 'em out a few times and that each of those few times it has been TOTALLY APPROPRIATE. Appropriate why? See for yourself. MyName1234567 doesn't have an imaginative cell in her body. If she was food, she'd be a water cracker. I called out her Pinterest Grandma mumblings and it worked because she didn't make another thread like that again.
As for the OP of this one, he's some Dutch Tulip who squirts out these little grape-shot turds (Check posting history) of un-punctuated personal reactions no deeper than "Blah! I didn't like it?" and with nothing to talk about except "Did you like this TV show / movie / episode?" All one can say is, Yup or Nope...zzzzzz.
Negative feedback. Sometimes you gotta give it, when justified. Then you move on and keep being awesome.

Yeah like as if you know I've used my real name.....Gee, you really are an idiot.
You're just jealous when people make more interesting threads than you do. Your threads SUCK, and they just prove what a juvenile IDIOT you are. Go back to school and finish third grade, why don't you.
And BTW I've got more than twice as many posts and threads than you do, so you are nobody to preach to me, and I've been here since Day 1 so do me a favour and stick your finger right back up your stinking arse, because that's the only thing you are good at.
Oh and I'm still waiting for your interesting thread......zzzzzzzzzzzzz Bye bye, IDIOT....Bobby Briggs Briganza....oh gee, that's just soooo original.... You should call yourself IDIOTWITHACAPITALI because that's what you are.
It's just a bizarre experience interacting with senior citizens on-line. Quaint, actually. I imagine then at their NHS doctors' appointments, sat there in the waiting room with a tablet, multitasking on replying to their latest chats, googling new phrases they've read on-line, and deciding on whether to go to the chemist or Tesco's first before going home. Will there be enough time to get the beef in the oven?
shareOh I see, just because I made out that you are just a kid playing at being a grown up, now you make out that I'm a senior citizen. Gee, you're really original, aren't you? As original as your threads, I guess. I only have one thing to say to you.......Don't forget to do your homework!
Wait, when did you make out that I was a kid? I don't remember.
shareWhen I told you to go and finish third grade.
shareOh, I see.
So, "18 hours ago" (at the time of writing), you say,
"Go back to school and finish third grade, why don't you."
And you say,
"just because I made out that you are just a kid playing at being a grown up, now you make out that I'm a senior citizen. Gee, you're really original, aren't you?"
Huh. "A day ago," I say,
"MyName1234567 doesn't have an imaginative cell in her body... I called out her Pinterest Grandma mumblings... "
Weird. And then 4 days ago, I say,
"You sound like one of those Pinterest Grandmas who think they're being creative when they post a link to some recipe. They just all of a sudden have this tablet thing in their lap and and aside from looking at grandchildren pictures... "
Perhaps you were having a "senior moment"?
The other thing is that you "making out that I was a kid [in third grade]" was just another cringeworthy example of your lack of imagination and awareness. Nothing rings true about it to anyone, given how I express myself. Yet my characterization of you as Grandma Pinterest is simply a statement of the obvious truth. Your copious posts (of which you're strangely proud) make it obvious that, aside from doctor's visits and Tesco, the bulk of your day is spent with that tablet out while on the sofa and the telly on simultaneously. There's the morning session, then errands, then the afternoon session, followed by a nap, then the exciting evening session after supper. I'll bet you enjoy a few glasses of wine with it, too. No worries though. Nothing wrong with that.
I wish! lol
shareSorry, let me try that again coherently. Drunk posting no bueno.
I didn't care you called me schmuck. I was saying, your pintrist granny post had me cracking up, when i said "well done" i meant it. That shit was funny. My humor is very dry, sometimes it doesn't translate well. The only time i will step in is if i think someone's response is unfairly mean. You feel me? No, we're cool though. You had me at bobbybriggs😉
Also, if im being honest, that day i was bitchy to you, i had just read the "shelly's a dirty slut" post so i was probably more irritated by that than anything.
Fun fact: I was Bobby Briggs Briganza on IMDb since Feb. 2002.
Not so many people appreciate the Briganza part though.
The name was a play on two characters from cinematic things I was into back then: Twin Peaks and Hindi movies.
I remember you. The first time we met i had to call you a dick before you ate some young lamb alive. Lol glad nothing has changed. I dig the name in its' entirety.
You know i agree with you about it being boring af in here too, glad you decided to wake up kid.
Irl, if given the opportunity...would you kick the guys ass who starts a smoking thread in a twin peaks room, or the guy who attaches a reddit link?
I say reddit guy. Seems sacrilegious.
Also: i miss imdb.

Hey bobby? (Pokes with stick found on forest floor) 😂😂😂
shareCall me whatever names you wish briganza. Im just suggesting if you don't like what we're discussing, instead of insulting people, make your own thread. Im sure we'll all be impressed with your mad skills.
Pennywise I totally agree with you. Boring as hell it was, cringeworthy slow POINTLESS longwinded scenes. I was constantly rolling my eyes and thinking 'why do we have to sit to 18 episodes when half of the content is baloney?'.
A great many people are complaining about the episode in reddit, and I don't blame them.

All the episodes after the nuclear explosion episode seem slower. Before it, things were going somewhere, and now it's like everything is standing still. There's no news about Dougie's fingerprints that would finally help identify agent Cooper. There's no debate about what Gordon saw in the vortex. Instead, we get a long shot of a french woman preparing to leave the room, and boy, does she take her time.
The only redeeming quality is Audrey who finally showed up, but even her scene wasn't memorable. She seems like a different person.
The French lady leaving the room SO slowly was at least kind of funny, unlike Audrey's anticlimactic scene. I love Audrey and have been waiting to see her, but I just wish her return had been more intriguing and not literally sedative.
shareYes, the french lady leaving was kinda funny because she didn't just stare at them for 5 minutes before leaving (which would be more Lynchean), but instead she puts her jacket on, puts her shoes on, shows her legs to Gordon, checks her makeup, reapplies her lipstick and drinks some wine, all the while Gordon is looking at her like she is the second coming of Christ.
shareLynch managed to make an episode that's even more pointless than 8.
It's kinda amazing when you think about it.
I agree. We finally get to see my beloved Audrey, after waiting 12 episodes, and it's just her and her cuckold husband arguing for 20 minutes about characters we've never even seen yet. Who the fuck are Billy and Christine and why should I even care about them?
I had a tiring weekend so I can't completely blame the show, but I was literally fighting to stay awake through that Audrey scene.
Some people are never satisfied. They complain about Audrey not being on, then when she is...they complain. The same thing will happen when Cooper comes back. Just wait and see.
