Big Ag propaganda piece defending puppy mills and animal cruelty

This film is a propaganda piece funded by billionaire Forrest Lucas to gain wider exposure for his failed front group, Protect the Harvest.

Protect the Harvest is dedicated to attacking animal welfare groups, particularly those that confront cruelty in animal agriculture: factory farms, intensive confinement, and especially puppy mills.

I'm disgusted beyond belief that James Remar and Lea Thompson would help to defend animal cruelty and sell out to one of the most despicable, dishonest, destructive individuals on this planet.

And that's not even touching the issue of Lucas' racism... but I guess to some actors, money will always be more important than human decency.

I am outraged and disgusted, but not surprised. Many politicians and mayors (in the US but not only) refused to approve laws to ban puppy mills, and too many ignorant, shallow, self-proclaimed dog lovers keep purchasing their toy puppies from pet shops, backyard breeders or puppy mills, instead of adopting - or at least choosing an actual breeder.
Shame on James Remar for playing a puppy mill "breeder" in this offensive turd!
It will bomb hard, I for one will boycott this BS-ridden travesty.

🐺 Boycott movies that involve real animal violence (& their directors) 🐾

I enjoyed the film, which clearly shows the people who support groups like PETA are just as nuts as the ones doing their bidding. They give nothing back to the ones they say the are trying to protect, its just a money making business, and money is their bottom line, not protecting the animals, they couldn't care less about that. In my city we have no kill shelters but the "The Humane Society" is # 1 on euthanizing animals. In fact there are current charges of them not checking to see if the dog/cat are micro chipped and not waiting the posted 3 days before putting these animals down, or even attempting to find the rightful owners of these animals. Groups like these are a scam and anyone that falls for it is just plain naive or simply do not care what these groups do in the shadows when no one is looking.
