They don't need to acknowledge it at all. She's a recurring guest star, not part of the regular cast. There's only a few more episodes. They just simply write episodes that don't include her.

This. No need to even address it. If they want John Stamos to guest star, he just comes to visit while Becky is traveling for work or something. Done.

There's also no clear, accurate reason why Michelle didn't appear. Not even once.

Actually they covered that in the very first episode. Michelle is living in NY and running her own company.
