He sure played a socially awkward, semi-delusional character pretty damn good. Movie was fairly slow otherwise, not really my cup of tea.

He had a staring into space thing going on through the entire film, as if it was supposed to represent something. By the end of the film I realized it represented nothing at all, ridiculous film, waste of time.

Didn't he play a blind guy in the movie Contact?

Lance excels in roles like this. I highly suggest the TV show Millenium.
