The action sequences in modern Hollywood blockbusters

Does anyone else have issue with the action sequences in Hollywood films nowadays?share
The worst offenders for this are the marvel films but rogue one is another example.
Films like this are usually entertaining for the first 1/2 - 2/3's but then they build up to these overly long action sequences that go for anywhere between 30 minutes to an hour towards the end with very little change of pace to break it up.
There are so many explosions and lights flying around the screen it becomes impossible to follow and the fact they stay at the same pace for so long means the action has little impact and gets very tiring.
Trying to watch guardians of the galaxy 2, loved it up until the last action sequence, every-time I try and continue watching it I get overwhelmed and bored quickly and give up. Frantic action can be effective in short bursts but not when its going on for hours.
It's like just because you have the budget and technology to do something doesn't mean you should.
I expect I'm alone or in a minority on this as these films make a lot of money and are universally acclaimed.
I get that they're meant to be big dumb films you're not meant to think about too much but I can't think about them at all when I'm getting bored and fatigued by action scenes that should be impressive but just throw too much at the wall and last too long and end up causing me to get bored and stop paying attention.
