So is The Widow supposed to be the Villain?
It seems as if Quinn is more an *beep*
shareThis series so far seems to have anti heroes, tons of villians, no real heroes, just the main characters are less of a villian then others, when you live in a world like that, if you don't know how to kill or rule, you will die.
shareAgreed.
I'd say Sunny and M.K., and Tilda are pretty much anti-heroes (characters who do bad things, but with good reasons/intent), Veil is more of a "damsel in distress" type character (since she didn't do anything evil yet, but didn't do anything heroic yet as well to be classified as a hero).
Pretty much everyone else are villains (though I would like to think Waldo as an anti-hero as well), though it does seem the Widow is the central villain of this season (Quinn is a villain too, but currently compared to The Widow, he does seem to be the lesser of two evils).
Though if Quinn somehow survives this season and finds out Sunny is leaving with M.K. and Veil, he'll be incredibly pissed and do something more crazy that will increase his stature as a villain.
How on earth do you perceive the Widow as a greater evil than Quinn??
shareWell, we know that she risked her life to save one of her own, Tilda, and before that, she tried to retrieve one of her other "daughters". I don't think Quinn would have likely don't that for Sunny. Take that for whatever it's worth.
shareBecause Quinn was perfectly fine with the things as they were, and if it wasn't for Widow trying to get her own hands on M.K. (she probably isn't satisfied with just her own territory and wants to use him to conquer all the badlands or something), this whole Quinn vs the Widow conflict would have never started.
Sure Quinn's done evil things too (such as killing Veil's parents), but Widow with the whole starting the war between the barons (for her own good) seems to be the greater evil here.
These 6 episodes were just an introduction to the universe, with Quinn as main villain, but either the other Barons (or some of them) will be the next villain, or another new villain that will last seasons.
shareThe Widow is definitely a villain, but she's the kind that hides behind the mask of a hero. Meaning she pretends she's doing something for what she preaches to be and what seems to be the greater good, but it is either a lie, or it works in her favor for her true goal, in this case it's to rule all the territories by having the other barons take each other out so she can "make the world a safer place for woman", which she claims can only be done if she rules. Ruling though is her main goal.
shareExactly watcher. The widow is a master manipulator which is the most dangerous type of villain
shareThat's not to say she's a COMPLETE villain though. I believe she at least legitimately cares for Tilda based on the way she went to save her. But claiming that she wants to help save MK from himself is pure BS, she just wants to use him.
shareNo.
No more than everybody else besides the boy anyways.
