Banned on the Rob Zombie Facebook page for offering criticism

Take a look at his Facebook page and the comments. It's hard to find anything slightly negative. I merely offered the theory that studios are sick of the same film from him rehashed as something else, all starting his talentless wife.
This film had a one night "preview" screening on a Thursday night. Then two weeks later it's on iTunes, cable, satellite, and Amazon to stream. Then in a month I'm hearing it might be in some theaters again and also released on DVD/BluRay at the same time? What kind of release is this?

I'm surprised I didn't get banned from it a couple days ago. I really let him have it. I was mad that it clearly stated on his official website and Sheri Moon Zombie's official Facebook page: "October 21st- In theaters and available for Purchase on DVD/Blu-Ray." It isn't there now of course. But then Rob had the audacity to make a Facebook post bitching at fans for being "impatient" because they thought they'd be able to buy it on that date. That really irked me and I told him so.

But I'll forgive him because I do enjoy all of his music and movies I've seen and heard so far. I'm still refusing to watch the movie until I can see the unrated version regardless.

I don't see what peoples problem with this film is. Maybe the younger crowd doesn't understand it. If you've ever been to a grindhouse theatre, you'd know exactly what this film is, exploitation grindhouse trash, or a throwback to such films.

This isn't your standard horror film. This is a sleazy, trashy, grindhouse flick. Little subtstance, sleazy characters and atmosphere, emphasis on sex and violence, dark cynical humor. It's intentionally made that way. All it is trying to do is provide sleazy mindless entertainment.

I myself expected a trashy grindhouse flick, and that is exactly what I paid money for. I really enjoy this flick and will add it to my trash collection as soon as it's out on Blu Ray. It's one of those it's so bad it's good films. Rob Zombie knows the genre well and it shows in his movies, they all have some sort of grindhouse trashy element to them. Sometimes I think he lives in the wrong era, he's be a great fit for the 70's.
