Banned on the Rob Zombie Facebook page for offering criticism

Take a look at his Facebook page and the comments. It's hard to find anything slightly negative. I merely offered the theory that studios are sick of the same film from him rehashed as something else, all starting his talentless wife.
This film had a one night "preview" screening on a Thursday night. Then two weeks later it's on iTunes, cable, satellite, and Amazon to stream. Then in a month I'm hearing it might be in some theaters again and also released on DVD/BluRay at the same time? What kind of release is this?

Cinnamental, i didn't like this movie but if your comment/post on the facebook page said (verbatim) "...starring your untalented wife"... then being banned from that page isn't a surprise (i don't mean that in a sarcastic/snarky way at you).

i DO think that page and any page/site like it should allow commenters to post negative but respectful comments on it/them. just curious, how exactly did you word your comment that got you banned?

oh, i definitely do agree w/ you that Zombie just seems to be rehashing the same movie again and again.

I don't really get that. He does reuse a lot of the same actors (mainly his wife) but most of his films are different enough.

House of 1000 Corpses and The Devil's Rejects are completely different beasts despite one being a sequel to the other. Halloween and Halloween II are fairly similar in tone but the second film is still fairly different with all of the mindf_ck bits and the focus on Laurie going crazy. 'Lords of Salem' is nothing like any of his previous films.

'31' does feel a bit like 'The Devil's Rejects' although it's more of a straight-forward horror thriller. And his next film is a movie about Groucho Marx.

This type of release is fairly common with a lot of small films today. Often the VOD is released first and then there's a small theatrical release later. 31 just got a sneak-preview because of high demand.

Does he have another wife I don't know about? Because his wife Sheri certainly isn't talentless. I can see you were banned.

She's a cringe-inducing actress. So seeing how she's terrible at acting, what other talents does she possess that we don't know about?

Took a quick peek at the comments for the release post and yep, he (or whoever) deleted almost every negative comment that I had seen when he first made the post. A few "the movie sucked" and "I was let down" comments were left either by mistake or so it didn't look super obvious he was deleting the negative ones.
