It's campy. Young people don't understand "camp".

I remember someone on this board saying this film was unintentionally funny.

I'm like, the film's prologue kinda established the low key goofiness of this film.

The doctor was so overacting. And lol the dramatic shot of the hospital by the sea.

Absolutely...the first scene sets up what the rest of the movie will be like. It was totally intentional.

I busted up laughing at the "time to cut out the cancer" line. I was reminded of hobo with a shotgun's "we're all dirty copss" *zoom to policeman face*
