Nudity in this film
Was it dead bodoes?
The actor?
The actress?
Who was it, please? Cheers!
Who cares. What is wrong with you?
shareyou do. that's why you are here.
shareStanley, what is WRONG with you?
Some people are concerned about nudity in foreign films especially, and NOT in a prurient way. Not all questions, concerning the lack of clothing in films, comes from a sexual mindset. Your mind might have been more in the gutter, what with the assumption you made as to the OPs motive for asking his question!
** There MUST be more than one way to skin this Cat! **

Some of our minds are not always mired in the gutter, you know ...
** There MUST be more than one way to skin this Cat! **
But you still didn't explain in what other way
Now that we know who you are, I know who I am. - Mr Glass
I did not think that I HAD to do so! I thought you'd surely understand what was implied, by what I wrote. See, I'd assumed you weren't stupid.
** There MUST be more than one way to skin this Cat! **
I also do not understand what the issue with nudity could be, apart from the puritan sexuality angle.
I'm stupid eurotrash I guess.

I never said anything about America though. I asked what you thought the OPs issue with nudity was.
shareI replied specifically about my nation because of its sexual uptightness and silliness.
What is the OP's issue with nudity? I don't know. Perhaps he or she can tell us, fully accurately? I long ago gave up second-guessing what is in peoples' minds, here online.
But, that said, if I were to guess at what the OP meant by what he or she asked, I would guess that he or she was just wanted to know if the naked bodies seen, were dead or alive. They didn't move so I assumed that were dead and being moved / dragged to the crematoria.
** There MUST be more than one way to skin this Cat! **
Only de cadavers are nude, but it is no really relevant in the movie.
shareJerry, the nudity was seen from a distance, and was sometimes a bit hard to make out (if you will), but, what was filmed were the naked dead bodies being dragged off to the cremtoria, after the victims had "showered".
** There MUST be more than one way to skin this Cat! **
There was a fair amount of nudity among corpses and also during an execution scene at night. There is no gratuitous nudity or sexual nudity.
It's a valid question for high school teachers who might want to show the film in class and need parents to sign a permission slip, or parents who want to show it to their kids.
IMHO, however, if anyone is mature enough to handle a film taking place in a Nazi concentration camp, they are mature enough to handle nudity.

Higgins was right.

Your last sentence just said it all.
Thank you!
America still thinks that it needs to be sheltered from nudity and sex / sexuality.
Kids in America are brought up to be ever so sheltered, from such stuff too.
** There MUST be more than one way to skin this Cat! **

TO-TALLY!
America is so silly and puerile in how it deals with sex and sexuality.
** There MUST be more than one way to skin this Cat! **
Thanks, DogtownGirl.
Actually, i found out that the parental guide actually described it in details....
Who cares? You are one sick puppy, jerry!
And what the hell are bodoes??
Schrodinger's cat walks into a bar, and / or doesn't.
Read the contents of the parental guidelines for the film and stop asking such pathetic questions.
You ain't got a license to kill bookies and today I ain't sellin any. So take your flunky and dangle
I figured he just meant did they use actual actors as corpses in the film or were they prosthetic models?
If anything I am interested to know about that. It must be hell as an actor to play a corpse having to be naked and stacked on other naked actors.
Questions like the one asked by the OP are the very reason why tragedies like those are bound to happen again and again.
