I liked Gosling more than Emma Stone in this movie

I appreciated the character of Seb more than Mia. He seemed to be very unselfish and supportive. The role played by Ryan Gosling was not a tremendously challenging one. On the other hand, I thought Emma Stone lit up the screen when she appeared. Just an opinion.

They both made me cry!

I thought John Legend was the best part of this. Idk, I really labored through this movie, couldn't wait for it to be over. It's me though, I never liked musicals. This doesn't deserve Best Pic imo. Moonlight please or Lion or Hidden Figures.

I loved both actors. Ryan Gosling has an amazing singing voice. He could be the next Micheal Buble,as his got that charm that Buble has singing. Emma Stone was also very good. She dreamed big and kept getting knocked down with her auditions because she wasn't good enough and she proved everyone wrong.

I didn't think either performance was great but Stone was better and had a more interesting character. It's more of a director's movie.
