Its obviously Ashley still calling him, and he's still entertaining her.
shareashley is toxic in jared's life and if he doesn't see that then it's on him for letting her get the way of him living to his fullest. she won't let him do what he feels his best for him, and that is neither love nor friendship. the sooner he cuts her out of his life forever, the sooner he can find someone to actually fall in love with.

shareAgreed. I used to think Ashley was the problem, but now that it's all said and done, I really cannot handle Jared either. There is something very unhealthy about both of them and it goes far beyond the concept of just being a "good guy" who won't hurt her feelings. A good guy has his limits and will find a way to create space even if that's hard to do. Jared isn't willing to let her go & that's his problem.
sharePretty disappointing. They were all so vague on After Paradise. Ashley's pure poison. I feel sorry for Jared, since he seems brainwashed or delusional. Definitely he's addicted to her attention, and even admitted texting her after they were 'done' just "to see if she was doing ok". What a joke. He can't even live without her.

shareUnfortunately, jstitely is probably correct. Caila totally sucks and is an airheaded, flighty bimbo. We are talking about someone who dumped her real life boyfriend (whom she was with because of, according to her, destiny) because she saw the show The Bachelor and thought Ben was cute. Then on Ben's season she totally yanked his crank and was never sure about her feelings. It was nauseating. She probably never had more than "meh" feelings for Jared.
Although, he is a dumbfvck too, so...maybe they should have been together.

For that reason alone, that makes Caila VERY smart.

Probably because she realiized the more fights she got in, the worse of an edit she'd get. She's actually gotten a very positive one considering not a single person on paradise or the bachelor has said anything positive about her.

It is interesting that Caila's biggest flaw seems to an inability to commit, whereas that is the one thing Ashley is good at - latching on to the point of leeching the blood right out of her victims.
Even if Caila's flightiness was part of the reason they failed, I still want to blame Jared and smack him on his stupid head. He is an absolute idiot & Ashley no longer holds all the blame for this weird thing they've been doing for more than a year now. He's an enabler.
i disagree. caila has never been one of my favorites, but i think she did the right thing here. if there was any doubt at all in her mind the fact that when she told jared she was leaving and he said "ok just let me go talk to ashley," sealed it. caila knew she would always have to fight their unhealthy friendship so she bailed before she got hurt.
shareAgreed. Caila does have her own set of issues, but with the few things we did hear on After Paradise, it really does seem like Ashley and Jared's toxic "friendship" was the thing to break them. Jared didn't even try to contradict the statement she made about 'friends' calling and Jared answering, which was the nice way of saying Ashley continued to be a problem even after filming wrapped.
shareJared as a "suitor" is a complete waste of time. Fortunately, he was properly eliminated on The Bachelorette. He is not interested in finding a lady in his life. Sean was right last night on After Paradise, that he enables Ashley to behave the way she does.
If they return Jared and Ashley next season, I certainly will not watch. Jared and Ashley have no entertainment value and I found the whole thing "long in the tooth" to sit through each week.
