This is so frustrating. I don’t understand the ‘get engaged or break up” deal. Do they just use not wanting to get engaged as an excuse to dump someone? It seems so forced (even by Bach standards).

Its not engaged or break up. Its be ready to commit in a serious relationship or break up. They don't have to be engaged, that was the exception not thee norm prior to this season. Also plenty of these contestants sneak around and date casually after the show ends, the show just won't draw attention to it.
shareNick & Jen totally could have just dated. Did Nick really not have any feelings toward her? Their breakup seemed unnecessary

Be in a committed relationship makes more sense. The way it ended this season was horrible. Nick being the next bachelor and breaking up with Jen then all other couples get engaged. Lol it was kinda comical.
