Did Disney Condition You to Accept Mediocrity?

Signs that you've been conditioned to accept mediocrity in a Star Wars film:

Relieved that it didn't sukk as much as Last Jedi. As if any movie could.

Happy that it wasn't so bad.

Happy that it was okay.

Feeling that any Star Wars movie is better than no Star Wars movie.

You hated the actor, the SFX, the robot, the script, the plot, some other characters, the music... But, you still liked the movie.

Well, for me personally it killed Star Wars. I didn't see this film, I hated the Last Jedi so badly and it ruined so many core items of Star Wars that I have no intention of seeing any more films. I'm only here posting because Solo was one of the films highlighted at the top of the page indicating someone recently posted something. Christmas Story was at the top as well, I'll check that board out next.

Ruining Luke, killing off Han and Luke and letting them only be in one of the 3 films each, never letting them all three have one scene together, weaponized light speed, Rey never having training but having great power, never struggling, no trials for her, the dumb run out of gas and your ship slows down while in a vacuum plot, betraying the hopefulness and selflessness of Luke.....etc.

Yeah, Disney ruined this. Solo? I never wanted a redo with a young actor playing the legendary role of Han. Only Harrison Ford can do that. I never wanted this film and after Episode VIII I'll never see another Star Wars film. I just don't care about them anymore.

Good job Disney.
