The writing hasn't improved at all (SPOILERS)

Only 3 episodes into season 8 and the characters just keep making bad nonsensical decisions. Madison escapes, lets herself get recaptured then escapes again just to let herself be recaptured by 2 scrawny kids when her and June could have just ended it right there. Then after fighting to get his daughter back Morgan pulls a 180 and starts working for the people that kidnapped her just to pull another 180 and defect. And were Daniels memory issues magically cured. If the writers goal is to make the characters appear incredibly dumb then mission accomplished.

Also if exposure to radiation is what helped Alicia survive the bite so long and can supposedly kill the infection then how were there radioactive zombies in season 5. wouldn't the radiation from the power plant melt down have killed the virus along with the people.
