Did it annoy anyone else how June was constantly looking to Morgan for solutions?

Like she just kept getting in his face "So how do we get off this roof?" "So what now?" "So where are we going?" like bitch can you come up with a plan for once? She acted as if Morgan was the only one capable of putting a thought together and thinking.

Yeah. It was pathetic. Like a lost puppy. They followed this utter buffoon into a hospital. A HOSPITAL AFTER A ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE. Then followed him to the roof. THE FUCKING ROOF. He's a complete moron. A zombie has better decision making skills than Morgan.

It was a cheap, pathetic, and unsuccessful attempt to bolster the Morgan character. The writing in this is god awful.

reply

It was some poor writing. People who blame the one they followed for not knowing what the future holds? That kind of writing is weak.

reply

Yeah especially for Jim, he clearly had the option of not following them into the hospital but he chose to stay with them and follow them, yet he keeps blaming Morgan for him getting bitten. Blame yourself buddy you was about to walk away but you chose to not leave and follow them, its your own fault.

reply

He even goes as far as saying "what you did to me" in reference to the bite. Absurd. One of the more insulting episodes.

reply

Yeah what was even more frustrating was neither Morgan or anyone else never spoke up and told him its his own fault and that he chose to follow them, everyone acted as if it was Morgan's fault, Morgan even felt guilty about it and June didn't even tell him it wasn't his fault she just said he helped him until he couldn't.

If it was me and i was in Morgan's shoes i'd be like, "Hey its not my fault, lets get that straight right now, you had the option to leave and not follow us in here, and when you got bit i had two fucking walkers trying to bite me, its not like i stood there watching you get bit".

Everyone in this group reacts the same way to adversity- they run away. This part of the season is about everyone dealing with their own shit so they will be able to stay together. And this episode was mostly set up for Morgan to see these people coming together to help him.

June is trying to show Morgan she believes in him. Mainly because he has traveled on his own more than anyone, inserted himself in a lot of bad situations and made it out alive.
