Wait so Nick is suddenly afraid of Walkers now?

How's this make any sense? I mean he walked in a herd of them multiple times wearing their blood, he went out on a binge with Troy and strolled out around a ton of Walkers while he was high.

I don't really get what would suddenly make him scared of them after all the shit he's been through, what he was surrounded at some point after the Dam blew up and nearly died? He's been in that kind of situation before.

I think Madison mentioned something in Episode 2 (the recent episode) where Nick was traumatized after the dam explosion. That's why he kept getting flashbacks when he was driving that truck.

I'm not sure what made this particular incident more traumatizing than past ones, but perhaps they'll explore it some more in future episodes. I know some viewers aren't liking the constant time jumps and flashbacks, but I'm actually liking the change of pace. I do not want the show to follow in the exact same TWD footsteps. And I hope the new "villains" introduced at the stadium aren't simply Negan 2.0.

Yeah, I was having similar thoughts. I think they're trying to do a PTSD thing with Nick and the dam explosion.
