Madison southern accent comes and goes

From one scene to the next 🤣😂wtf

Madison has a past she doesn't talk about. We've seen hints of it. In her youth she may have been an addict like her son, or a dealer, or ran with criminals, but there is something dark in her background that's helped her deal with the current situation. Eventually she got out of whatever life she was stuck in and reinvented herself. Maybe the trace of a southern accent gives us a hint as to where she grew up. But she's obviously dealt with dangerous psychopaths like Troy before. And where did she learn that trick with the spoon, shoving it between the eyeball and the socket without destroying the eye? That took some skill.

That's her real accent. She may be slipping into it because she used it on Deadwood, and she's doing a lot of scenes with Dayton Callie.

You're probably right. The simplest explanation is usually the correct one! But my point about Madison's past stands; we know less about her background than any other major character, and I'm guessing her childhood (while not quite as dark as Daniel's) was anything but idyllic.

Yes I agree . Something hidden in her.
