Lead actress wasn’t attractive enough
Just couldn’t believe that Shia Lebeauf would go all-out for her. I couldn’t believe the oil worker would pay $1000 to get a handjob from her. For Krystal, I could see it. But not the lead actress.

shareShe had vibes about her. Plus shia’s character would f*k anything in this movie, and pretty much did (Krystal’s words). And the oil workers didn’t have much, if any, action in a loooong time. Plus did you see dude that paid her? He was a dirty dog.
shareThis wasn’t supposed to be a glamorous Hollywood film. It was realism and the actress was believeable because she looked like any other teen walking down an aisle at KMart. What is so special about Shia? He wasn’t playing himself in this movie and his character looked rather scruffy. Plus you find out later (spoiler alert) that Krystal paid him to go out and recruit young women for the team. The other girls on the team weren’t beauties either but in door to door sales, people tend to trust women more, see them as less of a threat at the outset. As far as the moron oil worker, he’d probably blow that grand playing poker or drinking on a normal night, so the power trip of turning a naive, poor teen into his prostitute was an evil thrill.
