I saw it this morning. It was a slow start. The end was exactly like the tv show

I saw it with my 10-year-old grandson and we both loved it! He is hoping there will be a part two.

I never watched the tv show except a glance when my daughter had it on so I was concerned that this might be too cheesy, but it is not.

Someone else said it had a slow start. That's somewhat true, but it worked because they were having the teens meet, showing a little backstory. So for a sci-fi action movie is was actually good to have some character development.

Having the bad guy be Rita Repulsa like on the tv show was questionable, but they did a good job making her bad without the slapstick idiocy I was expecting.

Keep in mind this is still a kid's movie. Too many adults come on these boards and say bad things about kid's movies. It's not Oscar material, but really worth the price of a movie ticket.

I will definitely get this when it comes out on blu-ray or digital.
