Did they ever show or describe what kind of nightshade they used? There are several possible species.
shareNo, from what I can remember. Varga only says it is nightshade on the knife he cut her with and that it would normally kill vampires, but to a vampire with her strength, it would cause paralysis.
shareI have all the movies in this series yet have not seen this one yet. I've seen the cast list and neither Eve nor Michael are in this. i guess I'd like to know if there was any point in awakening. Does it apply to anything in this movie?
I don't know what IMDb is saying, but both Michael and Eve are in the movie. They appear for only one or two seconds each, so that's why they haven't been listed. In regards to Michael's arc, there was absolutely no point for what happened in Awakening. As for Eve, she was introduced in that movie and in the beginning of this new one, Selene will explain why she's not with her anymore. Besides flashbacks, she will appear for a second or two sometime during the movie.
