So let's talk about the Parallel Universe segment

So I was pretty into this right up until the point where he goes out side and sees the blimp with the upside down cross, and I'm thinking "Ok, so it's a mirror universe where Satanism trumped Christianity as the dominant religion... of COURSE they would be practicing weird devil rituals and orgies and whatnot on a Wednesday evening. What a cool concept!"

Are we on the same page? That's what you were thinking too, right?

And then weird glowy eyed bearded guys in 70's era running shorts happened, and penis creatures. And vagina teeth. And the whole thing fell apart.

Umm. 'k?

Anyone else feel like the set-up is a huge missed opportunity?

I thought it was poor even before the demon penises since it's all just talking, there's no tension being built, the main character wasn't in any danger and that upside down cross blimp was laughable as well.

I love the first 2 movies, as ridiculous as they may be, they were fun and had style. But this one is so terrible i have nothing more to say. The hairy weird snake dicks and the vagina with teeth hit the nail on this *beep* fest. I think it's because someone else wrote and directed this one whereas another guy wrote and directed the first two. I seriously want to see better V/H/S movies from the original person. Still have hope. But this movie is just disasterous.

The only things the people who were in the first two did were the wraparound segments and that eye segment in the second movie and many consider those to be the weakest things in both movies.
