Vicious Circles- 5/10
Dante the Great- 4/10
Parallel Monsters- 6/10
Bonestorm- 8/10

Overall, I'd give the movie a 6/10. The previous two were better.

Vicious Circles - 2.0, really confusing
Dante the Great - 3.0, not that good, nice ending
Parallel Monsters - 4.0, great idea, but poorly executed (the ending was good tho)
Bonestorm - 4.0, non-sense and stupid, but also fun (i think this one was the best segment)

Overall - 3.0

I thought the first two movies were great, but nothing in VHS Viral really worked except maybe for the buildup and shock value of "Parallel Monsters" despite all the silliness. I haven't seen the segment cut from Viral because I can't imagine it being any good.

It's very different from other segments though, it's not even a found footage short.

I liked it because: it didn't have annoying characters, it was actually kind of creepy (I never thought I'll say that about something from Viral), it was probably the most creative segment and (I never thought I'll say this about the V/H/S series) it made me think about what it could mean.

Though, it's not for everyone, maybe you won't like it, maybe you will.

I hated Phase 1 Clinical Trials for example.
