The instant he appeared on-screen for the first time I thought, "JFC this guy is so over-saturated." Does Tom Hanks have to be in EVERY fucking movie? Enough! And yea--his dialogue/accent was awful. Too quiet and indecipherable half the time.

Well deserved. I have had Tom Fatigue for a very long time. Not only was his acting hammy and a bit too "precious," he caused the film to far exceed its budget by repeatedly getting Covid. They were down from March-September 2020 waiting on him. It may have been more cost effective to recast him. For me, certainly more pleasant to watch.
sharelol, suppose they couldve recast like happened with Spacey on the Ridley Scott film, and like that cast a more apt actor for the job (like Hopkins)
