This show wouldn’t rate if Hilary had won

Face it, he’s only getting ratings on his comedic news recap on trump. Otherwise his show isn’t that entertaining.

reply

Well I guess we'll never know but I wouldn't necessarily have bet against him. He's a very talented man and chances are he would've found his footing in a different way.

reply

lol what talent

reply

Lol well considering you've hated 99% of movies released in the past 30 years (50 years?) it's hard to take your opinion seriously on what's entertaining and what's not since so little actually pleases you.

reply

who says so little actually pleases me? I am perfectly pleased, I just consume other things, not watch that worthless bespectacled sack of shit that looks like melting dough and has zero talented or fun. It actually says a lot about anyone that watches him, how clueless can they be?? how strong is the liberal dogma that everyone that criticizes someone so terrible is instantly silenced and squashed?? sad, sad times.

reply

I meant so little that the entertainment industry has offered in the past few decades. Judging solely on your posts on these boards. Outside of movies and TV, you're correct I have no idea what you "consume".

And the sack of shit thing may be subjective but he's not worthless as he's quite wealthy, a father of 3 and has been married to the same woman for 25 years without a single rumor of unfaithfulness or inappropriate behavior. In the "me too" era, those attributes are exceedingly hard to find. But your opinion regarding whether he's entertaining or not is your own. I find him hysterical and quite likable.

reply

that's because you are stuck in the liberal dogma, good for you, and don't brag about his dubious achievements, they are not your own.

reply

Lol ok dude.

reply

I know this is an old thread, but I seen some far left news sources around late 2016 and early 2017 criticize Colbert for making jokes about gay men. He was calling someone a homo as a joke. I can't remember what far left news it was but it was online and I am not interested in it anymore because I'm trying to move on from those.

reply

This show is GARBAGE. I was the biggest fan of Colbert Report. That clever writing is non-existent on this show. It's toxic hate speech.

reply

IT is toxic comedy and because of that I can only watch it from time to time. He does however do a good job at piecing together Trumps messages and driving a truck through his flawed logic.

reply

I'm sure he would be poking fun at Hilary, but the difference is she's smart and qualified to be President. We could all join in the good-natured fun. But rump is such an abomination, how can we not put him in a more unfavorable light? A day doesn't go by when he doesn't say something so mind-bendingly stupid, why sugar-coat it?

reply

I find his show nasty and mean spirited.

NFW. I TOTALLY disagree. He would have been the biggest ass-kisser Late Night TV has ever seen. He could not wait to get out of that "Faux Right" Persona on Colbert Report to show what a flaming leftist Liberal he really is IRL.
