July 21---rumours are that James Corden will take over the Late Show in the next few months, as his ratings are great, and the car karaoke is a big hit. Stephen Colbert has been given many chances to improve ratings, and the show continues to slide...

I highly doubt that. The only thing that Corden has going for him is the "Carpool Karaoke" segment...and THAT'S IT! Other than that, Corden really isn't that funny at all. In fact, I think that he's the second worst late night host out there aside from Seth Meyers...who is absolutely ABYSMAL!
