This forum, actually the entire IMDb, is so full of communist sympathizers. Any movie that even touches on the subject of the Soviet Union is FULL of threads about how the poor soviets are being misrepresented and boo hoo blaa blaa.

I guess being a "hipster" now extends to the point of being too cool for freedom. lol

Even if you have some type of academic, theoretical appreciate for Marxism, don't be so foolish as to excuse the disgrace to humanity that was the Soviet Union.

Well the western propaganda is o lot better.
But when you read between the lines. Its just as corrupt and rotten as anywhere else.

I just finished the movie and I didn't get the impression that any of the Americans in the film were sympathetic with the Soviets.

Who on IMDb is sympathetic with the USSR?

Well, american movies truly are full of propaganda and I've been explainig this on imdb for over a decade. In recent years marxism has become kind of hip in angolophone countries, so I gladly find myself to be in good company now. Actually I've almost stopped doing this, since there's no need anymore.
Anyway, USSR was the good guy and US the bad guy. Yes.

p.s. I used to say very bad things about religion too, but now it's like 8 years that most people here seem to be a little more rational.

Oh shut up. Ive been reading imdb for 16 or 17 years and in all that time nearly ever movie or tv show page has people like you imagining plots all around them as "liberal" agendas in everything. Im so sick of it.

You aren't nearly as smart as you think you are.
