Only annoyance is the Intro and Theme song

Petty argument I'll agree, but really, why do we need an intro for a Netflix series? I mean, you know it's starting, you're starting it!

With network and cable programing, the theme music signals to put down what you're doing, run to the head, then to the refrigerator and plop down in front of the set as the show is starting.

Sort of an unnecessary thing with a show that works via an app on your television. I could see using it for the first few episodes, but they should do away with it next season and give us thirty seconds more programing.

I enjoy real intros, especially themes that are written specifically for the show. It bothers me when a good theme gets chopped up in subsequent seasons and then gets blown to smithereens for syndication. It is especially frustrating to see that this wanton destruction of an intro theme song only ever makes way for another commercial, never more programming.

Personally, I applaud Netflix for putting a real intro at the top of every episode. Since they are not constrained to 30-minutes-including-commercials-and-promos-and-bumpers, there is no reason not to use the intro they paid good money for.

Another consideration is that this show might be sold into syndication or into a market that Netflix does not serve. Shows without intros don't do too well in much of the world, where they use intros to -- well -- introduce the characters and the basic story.

Haha, I do too. I never FF thru it and love watching the cake splitting apart.
