I'm just curious how old the viewers typically are. At first I imagined a lot of older people watched this show, but I'm wondering if there are any younger fans? Particularly in their mid 20s to early 30s? Or even younger.

This is just an amazing show so I would think all ages apply. Me and my wife are early 40s but have friends in 20s 30s and 50s... People are not that different in most ways. The most strange are just different enough to really matter good or bad. Treat people with love and respect and you will see that we are all mostly just human with a few minor quirks here and there.

shareI am 36 and I love this show. Not only is it hilarious, but it also gives me some insight into the lives of my parents. This show succeeds in allowing a viewer of any age to identify with the ages of the main characters and see what life might be like from the perspective of a person in their 60's-70's. Sometimes I find myself pondering how a 70 year-old version of myself might react in some of these impossible situations that are quite possible indeed.
shareThe show seems to be less about age than changes and finding some meaning. So While a midlife crisis might be a good point to relate to that show, I would not be surprised to have an overproportional gay audience independent from all ages as well, as well as students of arts and soft sciences.
share31 and was turned onto it by my 61 year old mother. I've since recommended it to my boss who's around my age, who loved it, and my 21 year old coworker who has not yet, to my knowledge, watched it yet.
