What do you think will later happen to Keanu Reeves' character in this movie?
Do you also think for one, even as a man (whatever that means psychologically, physically, physiologically etc, regardless of law, however definite or imperfect, or morality - however fixed or occasionally relative), he will recover from all of this and say live normally or will he feel hurt say mentally at least for nearly the remainder of his life?
If he becomes an old man in his 80s and if he is on his death bed, will he be like "Oh those horrible even if attractive ladies once upon a time came into my house and wrecked it and my life, they nearly killed me too" etc and oh well...
Yes I know I know, not least because, the aura of this was in the public air even before we LEARNED DETAILS ABOUT such subjects, like female victims under male perpetrators, or if men were here from any men (and even many FILMS have shown it too) so sadly, yeah, we know all about it here. But what about in a situation like this, as portrayed HERE, even if it might not be very realistic or often like that, although there could be exceptions (God knows)...
And don't forget its just a film as well. Meaning that, well yes, in real life, it may be embarrassing to question it all like that, especially directly to those involved, but films may at times, or may not, besides it being fictional, reveal certain details and ultimate plights of various of its characters here and there.
