Censors would not allow the male hero to kill a woman in a movie
shareWell, actually, there HAVE been movies where that did happen, and if a woman was bad and a threat. Remember some James Bond films including "GoldenEye" (1995)? And others here and there?
Maybe besides censorship, as valid as it may be, they kind of wanted to show villains getting away here. And there have been plenty of films where bad guys won or got away with it.

Watch "Buried Alive" (1990).
Are we also sensitive to women in cinema even if they happen to be antagonists, villains, anti-heroes who do bad deeds? Just as, or maybe slightly less so but still, if we are to innocent women in very well recognized scenarios?
