I watched the entire season but almost jumped out twice when two episodes wasted important major plot time pushing gay relationships.
Episode three completely went off track to focus on two male minor characters who never appear again.
And then a later ep spent way too much time on Elle’s first lesbian crush even though she explains it again to Joel later. They could have just gone with her brief explanation and spent the rest of the ep on important matters. Showing her relationship added nothing to the story.
Or at least cast hotter actresses to play lesbians. Lesbians don’t have to be ugly. In fact, that’s pretty insulting to lesbians.

I didn't love the episode in the mall, but Episode 3??? If that episode didn't tear at your heartstrings, you must be dead inside. It was phenomenal!!!
Again, never played the game, but Episode 3 really got me.
I didn’t care about two generic side characters. And it pissed me off that they wasted our time with it. It was totally pointless.

You should watch "Fighting with my Family" it stars Florence Pugh as a wrestler and it was a decent film based on a true story. It might give you new perception of Florence Pugh in a physical role.

I came across the movie at my local library and liked some of the cast so gave it a chance, it was good movie.
No. It’s pretty simple. If you’re adapting a character from an existing source, find actors who actually look like that character (including race, height, etc), audition them and cast the best one.
Don’t grab an actor that obviously isn’t right for the role and try to shoehorn them into it. It’s not only lazy and amateurish, it also shows the producers don’t give a damn about the source material.

My fiance said several things in the novel were better than the film and even helped explain some scenes more but I liked the movie still. The music in it was eerie and good! Set the tone and atmosphere well

I have no interest in seeing season 2 from what I heard about the story in part 2 of the videogame. All Im saying is Fighting with My Family was a good movie and Florence Pugh does a physical role and looks hot too.
