Op-ed: "Latinxs will be reduced to made-up themes and ideas taken from the playbook of white imagination"
So says Arlene Dávila, writing in an op-ed in El Nuevo Día.
Apparently Arlene doesn't realize the irony of this statement, given that the term "Latinx" is ITSELF "taken from the playbook of white imagination" (specifically the English-speaking media's attempt to force "gender neutral language" on the term latino/latina), and it certainly didn't originate in Latin American culture.
