Episode 1 and killed us with boredom

Did Game of Thrones have a sale on old costumes and sets? What a huge disappointment this premier was.
Dull, boring, confusing, a waste of potentially good actors, pure waste of paper to print lines on.
Hopefully it will hemorrhage money and they will cancel.

Completely opposite for me. I found it exciting and I'm looking forward to more.

i thought the first 2 eps of this show were really good. i wasn't bored at all actually. it's no big deal. we all like different things.

I loved it. I like shows where my 'predictions' are wrong. I didn't do any pre-watching of the show or its characters. I wasn't expecting a lot of stuff they had in there. I was sure the witches were doing the ceremony to expose and get the WWE's ruby fingergloves, instead they had no interest in what happened to them at all, rather they were enshrining her specific spells.

Which meant North flat out lied to the Wizard about the Prison of the Abject. There was also that curious line to West, about how they were the last two cardinal witches, and if they botched the ceremony, East would be the last witch. Lots of interesting loose ends going on here.

Kind of explains why the Eternal Man has his spear hanging over the Witch Temple.

It is so exciting to see someone getting tricked to blow her head off.

I kind of expected her to tell East to suck on the end, to make sure she didn't miss.

reply

I actually fell asleep watching it.

Truly awful, yes. Boring and bland.

You're welcome.

Sorry to hear you hated it :/ i found myself yawning a few times during the pilot myself. But you should give it another chance i personally think, episode 2 kinda hooked me :P The story line got much more interesting :)

Anyways just my opinion! Feel free to make your own decision!

I've given it four episodes (the first two-hour pilot counted as two) and I'm more bored than ever. I am an Oz junkie, and dive into anything Oz-related. Even I can't keep torturing myself with this.

It's a pity, because it's a great concept and a mostly great cast. But the reality of it falls far short. I'm disappointed that the Oz rights were even given here. And it's ruined D'Onofrio for me. I previously thought he was a great actor with lots of range. He's absolutely awful in this, and not just because of the wig.

So peace out. Free up my DVR!
