Did Game of Thrones have a sale on old costumes and sets? What a huge disappointment this premier was. Dull, boring, confusing, a waste of potentially good actors, pure waste of paper to print lines on. Hopefully it will hemorrhage money and they will cancel.
Lordknows262 replied 6m ago You are absolutely right. How the hell did this get a 7.3 rating?
A better question is how the hell did this get green lit for a pilot? I've seen a lot of garbage on TV, more so lately, but this takes it to a new level.
Instead of original ideas, it seems like writers of today can only take existing good ideas and turn them to crap.
A modern reimaging? Give me a break. There is a pathetic group of people who believe they're deep and profound, and they believe they show this in their "art", for lack of a better word. In reality, they're simply fortunate losers who found success when they didn't deserve it. The failure of this show will prove just that.

Yep, it wasn't good. I will not be watching any more episodes. I will stick with the original MGM classic. :P NBC should had kept it axed. -- Ant @ The Ant Farm (http://antfarm.ma.cx) and Ant's Quality Foraged Links (http://aqfl.net).
Unbelievable, right? How sad is it they're completely unaware how clueless and ludicrous they actually are?
I'm glad you caught that too. Sure, according to geniuses like him/her, everyone has an opinion, however if yours differs from theirs, then you're an idiot. It's almost as if they weren't sure they convinced the world of their stupidity, so they doubled down.
It's rare to see a person making two completely moronic statements, which contradict one another, yet they believe both, actually feel superior, and have the audacity to call someone else an idiot. You really have to laugh.
How in the world does someone become so ignorantly delusional? The funniest thing about it is the fact they have no idea how foolish they make themselves look, and will go through life never knowing just how absolutely void of intelligence they actually are?
You know, I admit, my comment was stupid, but wow. You sure do like to go out of your way to talk *beep* about somebody you don't even know, except on the internet. I say one immature sentence, and you make it seem personal. Chill out. It was just a comment, and this is just a show, that you unfortunately didn't like. Get over it. You're sounding/looking like an overly pretentious ass right now.
TheJoker35 replied 1h ago You know, I admit, my comment was stupid
Exactly. So why not leave it at that? No, you still have to make juvenile and idiotic comments. Grow up. Admitting you're a moron, and then whining like a baby doesn't help your case. The only one who looks like an ass is you. Own the fact you acted like a childish fool, but don't try to then turn it around. That's how intelligent grown ups do it. You just look pathetic.

Congratulations on admitting your mistake. Too often anonymity emboldens us to be mean and cruel. This is much more revealing of the person making the statement then the accusations flung at their intended target. It is sad that Underdog 73 took your admission as a sign of weakness, it was, in fact, a strength.
I know this is probably unheard of for you, but there's this thing called "opinions". Many people have different ones. Perhaps that there might be your answer.
I fell asleep, I was bored out of my skull beyond belief. I have absolutely no interest in seeing this again. I'm thinking Powerless might wind up being funny because of the cast, and at one point in time I loved Grimm and Blacklist and the way NBC started breaking up the seasons by randomly scattering new episodes here and there with no announcements on temporary hiatus or returns just killed any interest I had in them. But yeah, generally NBC is short for Nothing But Cancellations.
I do have to say the first part was boring to an extent but I feel they have a lot of setting up to do. First few episodes of Game of Thrones was boring to me but it got better. I think once there is a solid foundation it will get rolling. They have already introduced something that was in a different book so I think they will be bringing in a lot of characters from the book that people are not familiar with.
