So Underrated

1/2- 8/10 for Hardy's performance and the comical bits.

4- Hardy should have been nominated for best actor, but that's it.

5- Hardy and Bale in a buddy copper flick, with Jake Gyllenhaal as the main protagonist, directed by Mel Gibson, cinematography by Lubezki, and scored by the late, great James Horner.

6- Definitely Ron, they were really bad at being "gangsters" though (character-wise, not acting of course). Reggie didn't have the balls to do what was necessary (kill Ron).

1. I rate it an 8...
2. He's the main charm, did all the heavy work.
3. Wikipedia is good for starter.
4. Best Actor for Tom Hardy, cause any side than acting was very average, especially plot.
5. As long he's involved, count me in.
6. Reggie, basically a decent person, seeing him driven mad by his already mad twin was really... sad yet intense.

5- I would see it in drama or action. I like many movies with Taron Egerton.

I had the same word (underrated) on my mind, as I was watching the film. I liked it A LOT! It's insane that Hardy wasn't even nominated for his performance, and Emily Browning was also excellent (it seems like the older she gets, the more beautiful she becomes). What I was the most surprised about, is how much humour there was in the film, and how smart and subtle it was.
I, too, liked Black Mass as well, but that was mostly due to Johnny Depp's performance. Legend has much-much more for it than "just" Hardy; the script, the directing, the score. It's a well-crafted film with a lot of talent in it.

4. It would have deserved nominations (Hardy for sure), at the same time 2015 was a pretty strong year.

6. Reggie was more likable of course, but playing Ron had to be a much more complicated task for Hardy, and he delivered.
