hold the hell up

so i was watching the show last night and i was happy that jane finally got to lose her virginity to her husband...but im a little mad....i dont know why it hit me last night ( even though ive been watching since season one) but jane makes no since sometimes...when she was feeling bad about faking the orgasm with michael, he asked if she faked it any other time...im thinking god fearing, religious, holier than thou jane was doing other sex things (before she got married) but sex...but always feels so guilty about everything else...you telling me that she didnt feel guilty at all that she was having oral sex...michael was probably putting his fingers in a certain areas and all that was ok in the eyes of the lord? She might as well just had sex she was already walking on the line lol....It was like she was trying to find a loop hole...like, is ok that we do everything but put your d**k in my va***a....i bet you she told herself everytime michael went down on her that its perfectly ok with god because he didnt penetrate me lol

This is why religion when it comes to sexuality is stupid. Fooling around is the same as penetration? GTFO!

If I don't reply, you're probably on my ignore list for something I forgot already

I was like, she sucked a d!ck but refused to let it go in other hole? lol Folks still laugh at people like that. I know when people are in no sex relationshipships , they grab stuff, rub stuff, make out like J/M did in the pilot before it went too far, but if you're at the point of oral sex then you should just have sex.

Clark's destiny = Superman, LL &LL.

Oral IS sex, and is a win/win for a woman who gets off on it. PIV has such low orgasm rates and carries such huge risks for women (especially young ambitious ones like Jane), that avoiding it for a while makes perfect logical sense.

Totally agreed, simba. Listen, in high school, I had a very religious friend (we're both Catholic). She always had a boyfriend, was never on her own, and always went down on them. No sex, cause she's Catholic. I finally said to her, listen Emma, Jesus isn't going to give you points because you put it in your mouth instead of having sex. I'm not even religious and that's obvious. Who are you kidding. She sort of acknowledged I was right but I don't know if she changed her behavior.

However, when it comes to Jane, she wasn't trying to split hairs with her religion. She wasn't remaining a virgin for religious reasons.

When the distinctions get this ridiculous - it really hits home as to how much of a social construct all this is.
