I'm not getting the hate for this. It has much better jokes than the original ever did. James is much less wooden than Jordan was.

The first one isn't really funny as much as it is a fantasy adventure.

THEPEOPLE WHO LOVE THE ORIGINAL ARE PEOPLE WHO WERE CHILDREN WHEN IT WAS RELEASED...REALISTICALLY NEITHER ARE GREAT BUT BOTH ARE ENTERTAINING.

To me the funniest parts of the original are outside of Looney Toon Land like Bill Murrays conversations with Larry Bird, Stan being Stan which has everyone around him wishing they didn't know Stan. Except for that one time Stans antics led to the ball going in the basket for the Toon Squad.

I always laugh at the part where the guy says "He's fixing a divot!"
