Miyazaki fans will love this movie!

I feel sure of it. A brave girl's quest, assistance from deities and demigods, a theme of restoring balance to nature, and the most awe-inspiring role for a goddess in an animated film since Gran Mamare in Ponyo. And it's so beautiful!

While I have always disagreed with the assertion that I'm a Miyazaki fangirl, I do love his movies and I love this one as well.

This is a very fair comparison. I absolutely love Miyazaki, and this is my favorite Disney Animation production since the early 90's.

Here's another Miyazaki fan who loved it. In fact, I had been eagerly awaiting this movie ever since I saw the first teaser trailer, since I was very interested in seeing a Disney film inspired by Polynesian mythology. I need to read more on the subject now....
