CW has amazing shows, I do not know why everyone hates The Messengers

I thought this would be a lame show and not worth it but after watching the first two episodes, I take back everything! This show is an amazing show and I love the concept of 5 outcast coming together( 6 including Rose) but seriously it has the potential to become and amazing show. I pray that this doesn't get cancelled because I'm already sensing OTP'S (Josh and Vera, Raul and Erin ;)) I think the whole concept is genius and more people really should watch due to it being amazing and well written. Most shows have terrible scenes where the characters fall in love at first sight but, I think I'm this case it will take a while for the romances to develop and although I love romance, I'm glad this show has more to it then just a sappy love story! I'll definitely waiting for more and I hope they make a season 2!

Yes I know everyone has been upset due to it not being Sci-Fi but honestly guys, THERE HAS BEEN TWO EPISODES, TWO. How are you going to judge a show based on two episodes? I personally loved it as its diffrent from other shows on CW. CW has; Vampires, Hunters of the Supernatureal, Heros, 100, A virgin whos pregnant. I think that we need something like the messengers because CW has cancelled. mammy good shows, I do not want to see this one cancelled.

i don't know. I LOVE THE SHOW AND I AM NOT RELIGIOUS XD

I'm a private school educated Catholic and I loved this show. Really sad to see it go. It combined my interest in religion and my faith with my love for superheroes (the show reminded me of The X-Men), so it was the best of both worlds.

I don't know why other people get upset with CW shows, but I know my reason: they keep coming up with great premises which, in the right hands, could create thoughtful, entertaining, smart shows.

Instead they turn them into mind-bogglingly stupid shows designed for the lowest common denominator of viewers. It's not about the age demographic of their viewers; it's about the education. If "duck dynasty" type shows are considered the bottom rung of television entertainment, many of the CW shows are the next rung up.

My greatest happiness with CW is that they figured out that Supernatural's best bet was to acknowledge it's own ridiculousness and riff on it. That meta humor turned it into something truly unique.

Movies are IQ tests; the IMDB boards are how people broadcast their score.

I agree with most of what you typed.

I'm a staunch agnostic and I LOVED the premise. I especially like how the atheist becomes a believer.
