Characters nobody in their right mind can root for? I felt not a single ounce of sympathy or HOPE, towards any of the characters on this show. After watching the entire series, I was absolutely disgusted by every single one except perhaps Romeo and he was basically bat *beep* crazy. I realize the world isn't perfect and certainly the people aren't either, but in a tv show, please give me at least one redeeming character to root for. I don't ask that everyone poop rainbows and sunshine, but in all honesty, I don't think the majority of the human race is a descendant of the devil, and I like to be reminded of that in the entertainment I watch.

Fiction is not sports. "Someone to root for" is not an imperative but if it is for you, I suggest you stick with network tv and the leave it to beaver 50ies crap.

OP, I disagree with you. To "root for" is quite a silly, infantile concept to me. This show is not about that, it is not about entertaining. It is a dark and tense show about a *beep* up girl.
