Already watched 'Man on wire'. Is this worth a go?

Already watched 'Man on wire'.So is this any better than the original footage and is it worth a watch after watching that?

reply

Definitely. I can't wait to watch the doc again, as it's been years!

reply

You will miss the 'heavenly glory' if you not watch .

I was shocked they even made this movie since 'Man on Wire' was such a stellar documentary. Even more shocking that Zemeckis did it. I love so many of his films, but he's clearly out of ideas. I have no desire to see this after seeing a documentary that can't be topped.

Really? I was bored by the doco. Those cheesy re-enactments almost killed it for me. I liked the back story about how he met her and the archive footage of him training but it was overlong. I get that he's a dreamer like Terry Gilliam or whatever. The one thing I thought was "This would make a good movie"

Nice that the OP came back to thank everyone for their input.

Defintely worth seeing. Totally different creation to Man on Wire - both have their own flavour and viewpoint. Personally, I thoroughly enjoyed both.

reply

Man on Wire is better but still I'd watch it.
Very entertaining.

F--- him....... He's trash (Robert Loggia-"Jagged Edge")

reply

Definitely not better. I really liked the documentary and found this disappointing. Hardly worth watching in my opinion.

reply
