shareLet's say that in this universe Parallels gets picked up for a trial run ... maybe 8 episodes. There might be a problem with at least one cast member, Constance Wu (Polly), not returning. She's on a TV series called Fresh Off The Boat which seems to be doing well in the ratings and reviews. If FOtB is renewed and then if Parallels should be picked up then casting would need to replace Polly. Pilots often return with new cast members anyway, but when Polly showed up she very nearly stole the show. Parallels would need to replace her with somebody that had the same cutesy appeal and a sardonic wit. This might well be a moot point since Parallels has not been greenlit as far as I can tell. But if it does get picked up in the near future then Constance Wu's Polly will be sorely missed.

shareI think this story would be great if remade by the BBC. Having only a few episodes per season and really focusing on quality and moving the overall story forward would be amazing for this show. I really don't want an american series where they will milk every episode they can. Please just give us a well produced and concise story arc that answers the questions and has a satisfying ending .. That would be Awesome!
