Anyone else bothered by
The lack of resolution on characters fates
shareWhat lack? Only Mike's fate is left open and the rest of the gang achieved their personal goals and are happier for it.
As for the rest of their lives, that's what the sequels are for.
My friend you have been conditioned to expect a sequel to every movie .... did Ben hur have a sequel ??? Or gone with the wind???? What of gigli??? No ... the great movies have plot and resolution .... yet you chose to feed the Hollywood sequel cookie cutter machine ...
shareNot even a little bit. I think that movie audiences' need to have everything tied up in a neat little bow is kind of tiresome.
If I wanted an avatar, I'd have had one by now.
My friends .... we have entered the era of movies with no resolution .... even bill nye the science guy cannot give us answers
shareIt's for children and moronic adults, children crave attention, adults popularity and recognition.
shareChildren need resolution too
shareNope, I was fine with the way it ended, primarily because I was waiting for it to end. Wanted a comedy that I just did not get. Some of the singing was good though.
Trying to create a channel based on interpreting, reviewing, and even giving you something to laugh about film. Hope you enjoy what you see. Thanks in advance.

Nope, because by the end the point wasn't whatever their initial desires were. It's about pursuing what you love in the abstract (which is why Mike gets literally blown away, because he's the one character who still doesn't get it.)
