Why is the koala American?

With the incredible amount of Aussie actors out there, surely one of them would've been keen for the gig?!?

LAST SEEN: Whiskey Tango Foxtrot (7/10) / The Family Fang (10/10) / Special Correspondents (4/10)

Maybe his koala parents were born there and immigrated to the USA and had him here and that's why he has an American accent.

So of all the accents, that one troubles you the most? Why does a Gorilla have a British accent?
It's a animated film, Really doesn't matter to me who plays a certain animal it's funny, It doesn't have to be accurate for a comedy they're not making a documentary

Buster is the best character in the movie and voiced perfectly.

I don't think this is supposed to be set in the "real" world so accents don't matter. The gorilla has a British accent if they'd given him an African accent I think people would've said it was racist.

It's an animated movie about singing animals. I don't think it's supposed to be logical. :)

Wait... the koala is American and the gorillas are all British?

Damn, when I watched the film, everyone was a Finn!
