Every Disney like movie always has characters who must shake their butts for one reason or another. In this latest one some Hares are singing the tired intro to "I like big butts", shaking their butts in process. Same thing in Trolls. In Alvin and Chipmunks. In Secret Life of Animals. And so on.
It's less cute, and more towards nasty. Next thing you know twerking will be part of the Disney scripts.
You're watching the movie as an adult and aren't enjoying the childish innocence of it. Shake your butt in front of almost any kid and they'll most likely crack up laughing.
You'll ruin movies for yourself if you don't take a break and stop examining too deeply.
It's important to be in the proper mindset when seeing films. There is a different attitude/what is expected when seeing a movie whether it's a comedy, drama, action, kids, etc.

This movie is not even like a Disney film and leans more towards dramatic and slow paced whereas Disney films tend to be more sweet, cheerful, and optimistic.
I don't remember any actual Disney films that's got twerking in it.

I think the reason they all have shaking butts is because you're choosing the really *beep* dumbed down and mass produced animations to watch. Sing and Secret Life of Pets are two of the worst animations I've seen in recent years and they're both made by the same company (I've not seen Alvin and Chipmunks).
You should take a look at what company is making the film before going to see it. Illumination (Sing+Secret Life) do really obvious and dumb humour most of the time, with fart jokes and stuff. It's basically the Minions movie with a different design. Try picking something from Disney/Pixar or Lieka if you want something a bit smarter. Even Dreamworks do better work than Illumination.
