You’d have to overcome minor snag that they are clearly alive in the version I watched.
They are WOUNDED and Chris reads Lincoln's letter.
Afterwards they both comment on it.
The end.
But please, feel free to show me your special version with the ending where they die.
No, that is bs.
The ending clearly showed to everybody that they both were still alive.
If YOU felt that they had serious wounds with no medical assistance near them or any that (probably) were coming, hence they must have died AFTER THE END, that is YOUR OPINION ONLY.
The indisputable truth is, they both are ALIVE by the end.
No, that is bs.
The ending clearly showed to everybody that they both were still alive:
the two are WOUNDED and Chris reads Lincoln's letter.
Afterwards they both comment on it (which requires them to be alive).
The end.
How difficult is to imagine that they stay there one or two days and survive?
Maybe they find the first aid kit that there probably is in the cabin and fix themselves. Or they are that lucky that a doctor and his nurse take refuge there 3 minutes after the end and fix them?
It's pretty difficult for me to believe. They were both bleeding to death. Marcis Warren states that. Within a day they'll be dead. Then whoever next goes there will discover their dead bodies among the rest. Also I find it funny you think an 1800s first aid kit would be sufficient to heal bullet wounds. Not to mention, Marcis Warren was shot in the nuts. Even if he could survive that he'd be in excruciating pain the rest of his life. He's not catching wanted criminals in that condition.
Well, he could be walking around with crutches, or a wheel chair.
Makes it even more original.
Or he can have a full recovery after a year or two. People have recovered from way worse injuries.
So, the movie ends, they immediately decide they must do something to fix themselves or they will die.
Maybe they look for some sharp long knife to pop the bullets out, and then stich it with Minnie's stitching kit. Use some alcohol to disinfect it, and go to sleep.
Nothing that outrageous, just some tough ol' life bits from that era.
Or they could just whine and bitch like 2 millennials for the next 24 h expecting that someone else will save them.
Well, no problem amigo, I am usually against sequels and remakes.
But in this case, having watched the birth of this great duo of law enforcers, I wanna see more bad guys getting served their comeuppance by them.
It is a goddam waste to not expand on their crime bustin adventures and leave it at just their first meeting.
Are you crazy, Samuel Jackson even says they are both going to die, they were bleeding continuously, they may have been alive final Scene but it’s implied very strongly that they are going to die
Yes, I have already replied to this minor problem all over this thread.
It's as big a problem as First Blood ending with Rambo going to jail...
surely they could only set Rambo II 50 years later, when he gets out on parole, right?
WTF it's like you people have never heard of sequels before.
