While Fallon's late-night colleagues Stephen Colbert and Seth Meyers and Jimmy Kimmel Live! guest-host Anthony Anderson all touched on last Saturday's shooting incident, Fallon chose to ignore it entirely on Monday's show. Fallon did acknowledge Donald Trump selecting J.D. Vance as his VP pick.

Back when the late-night shows were worth watching, they were not political. Fallon is the least ideologically annoying late-night host of the current crop.
